We are open to the young talents

The students of Poltava Oil and Gas College of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” visited the laboratory of drilling and cementing fluids of RTE Burova Technika on April, 8, 2025 to familiarize themselves hands on with drilling technologies.

The main purpose of the tour is to get the future specialists into actual work with state-of-art laboratory equipment for monitoring the parameters of drilling muds and special fluids including rotary viscometers, Marsh funnels, retorts, sand meters, pH meters, etc., as well as familiarizing them with the modern classification of drilling muds.

The tour proved to be extremely interesting, as it was conducted by leading specialists of the company's drilling fluids department. They showed how the main parameters of drilling fluids are registered and how to perform the chemical analysis of a standard drilling mud.

Such study tours increase the students’ interest in the educational process, as they directly delve into their future professional activities, help consolidate theoretical knowledge and transform it into learning skills.
