Visit to the operations support base
Cooperation between educational institutions and industry is an important tool to give students an understanding of present working conditions, helping them develop the necessary skills and knowledge.
A real-life example on where such knowledge can be applied provides additional motivation for future specialists to study subjects in depth and helps them fully understand the importance of their profession.
Recently, third year students of the Poltava Oil and Gas College visited the Burova Technika operations support base.
Within the framework of the educational and professional program "Maintenance and Repair of Oil and Gas Field Equipment", our company engineers shared their experiences of working with the state of art equipment, namely:
- areas of Burova Technika business activities where such equipment can be applied;
- main parts of coiled tubing units such as injectors, preventors, packers etc;
- downhole equipment;
- pump units and their main parts;
- nitrogen unts;
- MWD laboratories;
- equipment for directional and horizontal drilling;
- mud preparation equipment and solids control equipment.
Our specialists have also discussed the main principles of mud solids control in multistage cleaning equipment.
We hope that this experience will add to the educational process of future specialists and make it more interesting for them.
