VIII KYIV OIL AND GAS CONFERENCE

On October 15-16th, the The VIII International Kyiv conference by Newfolk OGCC titled "Drilling. Well stimulation. Health, safety and environmental (HSE)" was held within the OILGASEXPO – 2024.

Engineers of LLC Burova Technika are regular participants of the event. This year, Oleksandr Velychko, Head of Drilling Services Department, and Roman Galushka, head of workover and coiled tubing department, shared their professional experiences, presented technological capabilities of the company, and challenges that the oil and gas industry faces right now.

Oleksandr Velychko noted the opportunities in using modern technical and technological solutions during drilling, shared our company's experience in jobs that are most promising today, in particular, jobs that involve pad drilling and horizontal sidetracking.

Roman Galushka described the problems of implementing coiled tubing technologies in more detail, noting in his presentation the special conditions of jobs using the coiled tubing fleet in Ukrainian fields.

Within the framework of the specialized exhibition OIL&GASEXPO-2024, our engineers presented the company at the exhibition stand. Among the visitors of the stand were representatives of customers, partners, manufacturers of equipment for the industry, logistics companies, etc.

The event ended with a meeting of the Drillers’ Union of Ukraine, the Geologists’ Union of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Petroleum Association, and the Ukrainian Association for Energy and Natural Resources. The members discussed issues related to geothermal energy as the main part of green energy, environmental and economic aspects of cuttings disposal during drilling.
