IWCF advance training

Upgrading skills is essential for improving efficiency and safety of operations in the company.

IWCF advance training course is the great opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills on well control. Such training also helps to single out potential risks and hazards and act accordingly to make them preventable.

Last week, our engineers have completed Drilling Well Control Level 4 programme. The following issues have been discussed:

• well control while drilling and tripping;
• causes, signs and indicators of kicks;
• blowout preventers management and associated wellhead procedures;
• well control equipment and methods.

Skill assessment was performed on simulators, followed by theory testing. After completion of this programme, our engineers have been issued with IWCF certificates that meet international standards.
